South Korean genius Kim Ung Yong, known for his record-breaking IQ officially listed as 210 in the Guinness World Records, stated that he expects Bitcoin to rise to $220,000 within the next 45 days.
He pledged to donate all profits from the rally to building churches “around the world.”
His statement came in response to a forecast from Vivek Sen of Bitcoin Magazine, who earlier cited predictions by the Grok chatbot. That projection suggested that with Bitcoin trading near $107,000, it could reach roughly $175,000 by December 31.
The AI’s estimate was based on the halving effect, ETF inflows, and forecasts from VanEck and Tom Lee analysts.
Skepticism Wave
Kim’s post sparked heated discussion online. User Just Another Beat called the story about an IQ of 276 “pure fiction,” claiming that earlier reports relied on “nonexistent data, unverified methods, and pseudoscientific modeling,” effectively questioning Kim’s credibility.
“I’m sure you’re lying about your IQ. BTC will not reach $220,000. Also, mixing religion and economics is a bad idea,” wrote user Vandal Capital.
User Mike Franco added a sarcastic comment:
“As the person with the second-highest IQ, I can tell you you’re wrong. Bitcoin is heading to $80,000 in the coming months while the Fed keeps rates high, inflation rises, tariffs hit markets, the dollar strengthens, and SPY loses about 10%.”
Despite the criticism, some defended Kim. Investor Bedurion described his forecast as “the energy of absolute conviction” and said turning profits into a religious project was “a move on an eternal scale.”
Meanwhile, according to Coinmarketcap data, Bitcoin has actually fallen more than 10% over the past month, moving further away from Kim’s prediction.
Moreover, the decline may continue. Glassnode’s technical analysis shows that Bitcoin is currently forming a “death cross” pattern.
