Japanese listed company Remixpoint, which operates an energy business and a digital asset management division, announced that it had sold all of its altcoins. Bitcoin is now the only cryptocurrency remaining in the company’s portfolio.
According to the company’s official disclosure, Remixpoint sold its ETH, SOL, XRP, and DOGE holdings. The ¥878.8M in proceeds will be used to expand its energy storage assets for power grids and strengthen its financial base.
Remixpoint earned the most from ETH, with a profit of ¥60.2M. The sale of SOL brought in ¥49.3M, while XRP generated ¥11.5M. DOGE was the only asset sold at a loss, resulting in a ¥3.3M loss.
The company said the decision was based on market conditions, the risk-reward profile of individual assets, and its own financial strategy. After the sales, Remixpoint held around 1,506 BTC.
