DWF Labs and Falcon Finance co-founder Andrei Grachev believes the crypto market is shifting toward new growth points. According to him, the financial market increasingly relies on promotion rather than an asset's fair value, and this trend is even more pronounced in crypto than anywhere else. Market participants, he says, need to get used to narratives constantly changing.
The entrepreneur considers trading, exchanges, and payments to be consistently profitable areas. AI, along with its supporting infrastructure, has now joined the list, alongside RWA.
“Follow the trend, enjoy it, and short everything else,” he wrote.
Grachev also touched on the topic of government debt. Governments will keep increasing the money supply, since paying off the global debt is unrealistic anyway, and in his view these funds should flow into the economy or financial markets. He says there are two ways to get rich: attracting major capital in the US, or building a business for the rest of the world outside the European Union, since the EU is too heavily regulated for high-margin projects.
Along with the post, Grachev shared a chart showing the growth of the money supply and government debt by region from 2000 to 2023. According to his data, by 2023 China's figure had reached $40.900B, while the US stood at $20.870B.
“In the long run, everything resets to zero, and we should take market swings calmly,” he concluded.
