U.S. President Donald Trump approved the first members of the Council of Advisors on Technology, Economy, and National Security at the White House. The group includes leaders from the largest technology companies focused on artificial intelligence and computing infrastructure.
The initial list includes 13 industry representatives. Among them are Mark Zuckerberg, Jensen Huang, Larry Ellison, Sergey Brin, and Lisa Su. The White House plans to expand the council to 24 members.
The Trump administration is promoting an AI development plan that focuses on reducing regulatory barriers and increasing the role of the private sector. The council will serve as one of the key channels for communication between the White House and the industry.
