Solana Mobile launched claims for SKR tokens—a key moment in the project’s strategy to integrate crypto into real-world devices. While average users discuss reward sizes, an influencer with the handle @tobific flagged an anomalous wallet. An unknown trader scooped up 75 million tokens, which the market currently values at $3.33 M.
Industrial-Scale Multi-Accounting
The anonymous user approached the airdrop on an industrial scale. They purchased 100 Seeker smartphones, spending about $50,000 on pre-orders, and combined them into a farm for multi-accounting and generating volume through internal exchange tools. This risky strategy paid off massively: the value of the assets received covered equipment costs by 66 times.
Eligibility for the tokens was determined by a snapshot of on-chain activity, where the algorithm tracked interactions with applications within the Seeker ecosystem.
SKR Emission Structure
SKR emission is capped at 10 billion coins. The team opted for an aggressive distribution model: 30% of the supply was immediately allocated for airdrops to users and developers. The remaining tokens were divided as follows:
- 25% for partnerships and grants;
- 15% to Solana Mobile;
- 10% to Solana Labs;
- 10% allocated for liquidity;
- 10% sent to the community treasury.
The token utility is standard for the DeFi sector: governance and staking. Holders delegate coins for network security and earn rewards. Stakers will also have the right to vote on changes to the platform’s economic parameters.
Inflation and Unlock Schedule
To retain capital in the system, developers implemented dynamic inflation. The starting rate is 10% annually, and it will decay by 25% each year until it hits a floor of 2%. This mechanism aims to motivate holders not to sell immediately but to commit tokens to staking. For the owner of the hundred-phone farm, this creates a dilemma: take profits now or wait for the ecosystem to develop.
