Spacecoin has signed an exclusive memorandum of understanding with Vietnamese technology company DETI Technology. Together, the partners plan to deploy decentralized satellite communications, sovereign traffic routing, blockchain, and edge AI across the Vietnamese market.
The parties expect to generate at least $100 M in annual revenue once the project enters commercial operation. Their primary customers are expected to be the country’s two largest mobile operators, Mobifone and Gtel.
The three-year memorandum grants DETI exclusive rights to develop and distribute these technologies throughout Vietnam. The term will begin once the project receives an official operating license. Under the agreement, DETI becomes Spacecoin’s sole partner in the Vietnamese market.
Spacecoin founder Tae Oh said the company chose Vietnam because it has one of the world’s youngest and most mobile-first populations, while the government continues to invest heavily in modernizing the country’s digital infrastructure.
“Vietnam is already ahead of the curve, and that is exactly the kind of ambition we want to build alongside,” he said.
The Vietnam agreement is part of Spacecoin’s broader expansion into emerging telecommunications markets. The company is currently in discussions about similar projects in other regions.
