Santiment Reports a Rise in Talk of Crypto’s Demise

Analytics platform Santiment reported that discussions about the death of the crypto market have intensified again: the words dead, dying, over, ended, ending, and finished are being used more frequently on X, Reddit, Telegram, and other platforms. Analysts linked this trend to rising fear among market participants.

Santiment tracks the ratio of anxious and optimistic language in discussions about Bitcoin.

“This kind of language usually appears when retail investors lose patience, prices remain stuck without any meaningful movement for a long time, and temporary market weakness starts to be seen as a sign of a final collapse,” Santiment said in the post.

The analysts noted that the crypto market often makes its strongest moves against the sentiment of the majority when market participants become too confident that the upside potential has run out.

“When talk of the end of the crypto market intensifies while Bitcoin continues to hold key levels, conditions become more attractive for patient buyers,” Santiment emphasized.
