The Moonbirds project announced the launch of soulbound token (SBT) minting for Solana Seeker phone owners as well as holders of Moonbirds, Mythics, and Oddities NFT collections.
According to the announcement, the token mint takes place on the Solana blockchain. Owners of Solana Mobile devices with a Seeker Genesis token and holders of Moonbirds collections can claim the Seeker X Moonbirds SBT through the project’s official website. Each NFT grants the right to mint one SBT. The program will remain open until November 22.
The Moonbirds team described the SBT release as a symbol of community unity and emphasized that it serves as a way to honor early adopters of the Solana Seeker phone.
“From silicon to skyline, this mark honors early adopters to Solana that carried the "call". You didn’t just hold a phone – you held the future of birb in your hand,” the statement said.
Moonbirds CEO Spencer Gordon-Sand noted that the post announcing the launch had gained more than 800,000 views, and as of October 23, over 19,000 tokens had been minted. He highlighted that integration with Solana plays an important role in the project’s future.
Moonbirds had previously announced the upcoming launch of its native token, BIRB, on the Solana blockchain. The new SBT initiative is part of this broader strategy to strengthen community ties and expand the project’s ecosystem.
