The team behind the Claynosaurz NFT project has announced a partnership with French animation studio Mediawan Kids & Family (Mediawan_kf), which will develop an animated series based on the collection. This marks the first step in transforming Claynosaurz into a large-scale global franchise beyond the world of digital collectible tokens.
Mediawan as Co-Creator of Major IPs
Mediawan is one of the largest children’s and family content producers in Europe, with experience creating over 2,500 half-hour episodes. Its content is available on platforms such as Netflix, Disney+, YouTube, and TF1. One of its flagship projects is the franchise Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir, developed in collaboration with Method Animation and ZAG Heroez.
Since launch, it has generated over $2 billion in revenue, surpassed 35 billion views on YouTube, and has around 100 million active monthly viewers across 120 countries.
Strong Start and Expansion Plans
Claynosaurz was originally developed as an intellectual property with potential to expand into the offline world. The collection has over 450,000 social media followers, more than 500 million short video views, a mobile game in development with Gameloft, and an upcoming achievements system designed to reward engaged users. The content team includes professionals with experience at Pixar, Disney, and DreamWorks.
Aiming for a Place Among Major Brands
The project’s creators emphasize that Claynosaurz is not just another NFT experiment. Their goal is to build a long-term media franchise supported by its community and thriving across both digital and physical worlds.
According to the team, Mediawan understands the value of the Web3 community and is open to gamifying content and co-developing next-generation formats.
Investors Await TGE and Capital Shifts
A user under the nickname J Frost stated that Claynosaurz is potentially a more powerful IP than Pudgy Penguins. He also wondered when the TGE of the $CLAYNO token would take place.
Project representatives declined to reveal a date for the token sale but stated they are “following a clear roadmap” and are focused on developing real-world use cases for the token.
Collection’s Reaction to the News
Following the announcement, the floor price of Claynosaurz NFTs remained mostly unchanged. According to nftpricefloor, it dropped by 1,78% in the past 24 hours to 13 SOL. However, over the past week, the collection has seen a 35,13% increase.
