The Pudgy Penguins team is expanding its ecosystem with the launch of the Telegram game Pengu Clash. Users can now join the waitlist for this new project and receive rewards for early access.

Launch of Pengu Clash and Registration

To participate, users must visit @pengu_clash_bot, select the Join Early Access Waitlist option, follow the project’s social media channels, and invite friends. In return, they receive a bronze chest with bonuses, including NFTs, boosts, and Fish Bonuses.

The project is being launched by a proven team that previously released the PENGU token and conducted several successful drops. The game will offer in-game rewards related to NFTs and the meme economy, and player activity will influence the bonuses they receive.

Application for the First PENGU and Pudgy Penguins NFTs ETF

In March, it was revealed that investment firm Canary Capital filed an application with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to launch the first ETF that combines NFTs and meme tokens. If approved, it will be the first product of its kind in history.
According to the application, the fund will include:

  • the PENGU token, a key asset in the Pudgy Penguins ecosystem.
  • NFTs from the Pudgy Penguins collection.
  • Ethereum (ETH) and Solana (SOL) tokens used within the ecosystem for transactions and liquidity.

The fund will track the value of these digital assets and offer investors a traditional financial instrument tied to Web3.

Collaboration With Ledger and Launch of a Limited Edition Device

Pudgy Penguins also previously announced a partnership with Ledger. As part of the collaboration, a limited edition of the Ledger Flex device and protective cases branded with Pudgy Penguins will be released.

According to Ledger, the collaboration aims to strengthen the security of users’ digital assets. Ledger CEO Pascal Gauthier stated that the project is a “key step” in advancing Web3 adoption. Pudgy Penguins founder Luca Netz commented that joining forces with Ledger will help “push the boundaries of digital ownership.”

Gameplay and Concerns Over Format

The gameplay of the upcoming Pengu Clash has not yet been revealed. However, if the project turns out to be another tap-to-earn game on Telegram, its prospects may be uncertain. According to the Notcoin team, this format has run its course. Previously, the co-founders of Notcoin — a game that attracted tens of millions of users in 2024 — publicly stated that the tap-to-earn genre on Telegram is “dead” as it fails to retain player interest.
