Justin Sun stated he is willing to pay $30M for a face-to-face conversation with Elon Musk. The crypto entrepreneur was responding to a popular poll on X, where users were asked to choose between that sum and spending 24 hours with the Tesla CEO.
User BUIKEM kicked off the discussion thread on January 15. He posted a photo of Musk and asked the audience: 24 hours with Elon or $30M? The tweet went viral, racking up massive reach.
Instead of picking one of the two options, Sun proposed his own alternative. On January 18, he wrote that if he could spend even just one hour in a private conversation with Musk, he would pay the money himself.
Essentially, the TRON founder valued 60 minutes of the X owner’s time at the exact same figure the thread’s author set for a full day of interaction. As of writing, Musk has not responded to the generous offer.
