The Gemini exchange has introduced a tool called Agentic Trading, which allows users to connect external AI models such as Claude, ChatGPT, and others to their trading accounts. This was reported by The Block, citing the company’s official announcement. The tool is built on the open MCP standard, originally developed by Anthropic to connect AI agents with external tools and APIs.
Gemini has fully integrated its trading API with MCP. This allows AI to independently monitor the market, place orders, execute trades, and manage risk within user-defined strategies.
First on a Regulated Market
The exchange positions Agentic Trading as the first agent-based trading tool available directly through a regulated US exchange.
“We believe we are at the beginning of a fundamental shift in how people interact with financial markets,” the company said.
According to Gemini, AI takes over execution, pattern analysis, and discipline, while the user focuses on strategy and goals.
