The NFT project Doodles has officially announced the launch of its native token, DOOD, alongside a large-scale airdrop for NFT holders and active community participants.
According to the team, the DOOD token will be issued with a maximum supply of 10 billion units. The goal is to make the token widely accessible and easy to use thanks to Solana's low fees, followed by integration with the Ethereum ecosystem through Base.
What’s Known
The DOOD airdrop will take place in two phases — for both long-time and new participants. Owners of OG Doodles and other ecosystem collectibles can already pre-register and link their Solana wallet. Once the token generation event (TGE) occurs, they will automatically receive their DOOD without needing to claim manually. The registration window will be open for a limited time.
For the New Blood community, no registration is required. These users will receive tokens automatically after the TGE.
The following assets from the Doodles ecosystem will qualify for DOOD token distribution:
- OG Doodles.
- Space Doodles.
- Dooplicators.
- Genesis Boxes.
- All types of Wearables (Iconic, Grail, Exclusive, Essential).
- Posters.
- Beta Passes.
- Certified Virals.
- Doodles Passes.
- Space Miles (providing a bonus in the distribution).
Each asset has a designated share of the airdrop. Holders of Space Doodles will receive additional rewards based on their accumulated Space Miles.
Airdrop conditions:
- Total token supply: 10 billion DOOD.
- Token claim period: 77 days from the TGE.
- The token will be bridged to Base L2 after its initial launch on Solana.
