Changpeng Zhao, better known as CZ, announced the upcoming release of his book Freedom of Money. He said the launch is scheduled for next week — unless the editors call him in for another round of revisions.
The digital version is already available for pre-order in two languages: English and Traditional Chinese. The physical English edition is also set to arrive next week.
Versions in other languages will follow later, over the coming months. CZ did not specify exact dates, only noting that the process is underway.
The book's subtitle — Memoirs on Protecting Users, Resilience, and Founding Binance — hints at a candid account of the history of the world's largest crypto exchange, likely including the period of CZ's criminal prosecution in the United States.
In November 2023, he pleaded guilty to violating anti-money laundering laws and spent several months in custody. Later, in 2025, US President Donald Trump pardoned him.
