The team behind the blue-chip NFT collection Azuki continues its expansion beyond profile pictures. On December 23, the project partnered with the GAMEE platform to open access to the Azuki Alley Escape mini-app.

The developers aim to convert Telegram’s audience of millions into participants of their anime universe through accessible game mechanics. The genre is a classic action-runner with intentionally simple gameplay familiar to mobile gamers, yet it retains the brand’s distinct visual style.

The game features in-app purchases via Telegram Stars, which can be spent on character customization, while some items can be earned free of charge through gameplay. The leaderboard serves as the key incentive for competition: high rankings guarantee access to rare digital items and exclusive rewards.

For Azuki, this release is part of a strategy to evolve into a full-fledged media franchise. Project founder Alex Xu states that the Telegram game will serve as an entry point for newcomers ahead of the launch of their trading card game.

In this partnership, GAMEE is responsible for technical implementation and traffic acquisition. The studio, a subsidiary of Animoca Brands, previously onboarded 4 million wallets into the TON ecosystem via the WATCoin token. Company CEO Martin Zakovec noted that they are now combining their mobile development expertise with top-tier intellectual property.
