TON Flipped Solana to Become Second-Largest NFT Network, Report Says
Trading volume in the network reached $35.2 million, surpassing Solana and Base thanks to the integration of Gifts and Usernames within the Telegram messenger.
The TON blockchain has become the world's second-largest NFT ecosystem. The corresponding report for April 2026 was published by the network's community lead, Viktor.
In the overall standings, the ecosystem trailed only Ethereum.
Volume Structure
The total volume of NFT transactions in the network amounted to $35.18 million. This includes both on-chain operations and internal transfers within the messenger's infrastructure.

If we isolate only on-chain data, TON still holds the silver medal with a result of $14.79 million. Ethereum continues to lead by a significant margin with $54.15 million.
The bulk of transactions is driven by Telegram's built-in services. Specifically:
Telegram Gifts: Accounted for 61% of the total volume, totaling $21.37 million.
Anonymous Numbers: Brought in $7.73 million (22%).
Usernames: Generated $5.62 million (16%).
Others: NFT stickers and DNS domains currently account for less than 1% of the market.

These figures do not include over-the-counter (OTC) deals. Analysts believe the actual market volume could be even higher due to these private contracts.
Record Activity
In terms of contract interactions, TON recorded 238,100 operations in a single month, averaging 7,900 transactions per day. In comparison, the report notes that Solana recorded 15,400 and Base 20,400 over the entire period.
The messenger is successfully turning NFTs into a mass-market product. Approximately 364,000 people interact with Gifts off-chain every day. The total number of unique monthly users in April reached 1.6 million.
The capitalization of the Telegram Gifts sector has approached $192 million, with a Fully Diluted Valuation (FDV) of $215.24 million.

April was marked by several high-profile deals. The most expensive username was @Boss, sold for $500,000. Among anonymous numbers, +888 8 377 led the pack, selling for 215,340 TON (approximately $258,400).
Despite lower volumes, the sticker market remains active: the Pudgy Penguins collection maintains a capitalization of $1.64 million.
Regarding trading platforms, TON-native services control 35.2% of the turnover. The MRKT marketplace leads with a volume of $11.5 million, followed by Fragment ($9.14 million) and Portals ($6.35 million).
Global players such as OpenSea and Blur are also present in the statistics through cross-chain activity, collectively holding about half of the market share.
