Let us explain: Avalance as a blockchain has become so infused with the idea of RWA that it has decided to make support for this technology native. In addition to deep technical integration, Avalanche has set a goal of becoming the first RWA coin to surpass a $10 billion market capitalization (so far, they’re doing well in that regard).
And while we’re on the subject of Avalance and RWAs, let’s take a good example of a project from insurers — Re, which is heavily technically/financially integrated with Avalance.
Let’s take this opportunity to get to know this newcomer better:
Re, an RWA platform specialized in offering tokenized insurance, has launched its first reinsurance fund using the Avalanche (AVAX) network.
This project has gathered a bunch of notable investors: Nexus Mutual, with a $15 million commitment, as well as the RWA-focused Vista AVA Labs fund. The company also raised $7 million in venture capital in its latest fundraising round led by Electric Capital.
Having raised a lot of money, RE/AVAX want to become a decentralized version of Lloyd’s of London, i.e. become a leading insurance marketplace, but based on the trendy blockchain/RWA.
As you can see, Avalanche (AVAX) is turning into a kind of aggregator of RWA projects, technically ideal for advanced RWA and NFT projects.
