The Shiba Inu (SHIB) community is facing a new phishing scam as fake websites impersonating official project platforms have started appearing online. Susbarium Shibarium Trust Watch, an account dedicated to exposing scams and protecting cryptocurrency users, has issued a warning.

How the Scam Works

According to Susbarium Shibarium Trust Watch, fraudsters create fake websites resembling official Shiba Inu platforms to trick users into revealing private keys and wallet login credentials. If a SHIB holder enters their details on one of these fraudulent pages, their funds may be stolen.

In response, the community has urged increased vigilance and precautionary measures. As SHIB's popularity grows, scammers are becoming more sophisticated, making it crucial for users to stay alert.

Previously, Shiba Inu developer Kaal Dhairya clarified that SHIB, LEASH, BONE, and TREAT do not have official versions on the Solana blockchain. If this changes, an announcement will be made on the official Shiba Inu website. This statement was issued following rumors of SHIB-related assets launching on Solana, which could potentially be part of a scam scheme.

How to Protect Your Assets

Susbarium experts have shared several tips to help users avoid scams:

  • Verify URLs – Always check website links against official Shiba Inu sources, as scammers often use similar domain names.
  • Never share private keys – Do not disclose your private keys or seed phrases to anyone, even if the website looks legitimate.
  • Double-check information – If something seems suspicious, confirm details via official channels and trusted community sources.
