Among the projects likely to conduct a TGE in Q1 2025 are:
- Pump fun — A platform for launching meme tokens. The total investment amount is unknown, but the project is backed by Alliance.
- Linea — A Layer 2 solution; details on funding and investors have not yet been disclosed.
- Monad — A Layer 1 blockchain that has already raised $244 million from companies such as Paradigm and Dragonfly.
- Berachain — Another Layer 1 project, which received $142 million from Polychain and Framework Ventures.
- Story Protocol — A Layer 1 protocol that has secured $134.3 million from a16z and Polychain.
NFT and DeFi
In the NFT space, one noteworthy project is Doodles, which has raised $54 million from investors including Seven Seven Six and FTX Ventures. Earlier, the project’s founder hinted at a possible token launch. Another project, Azuki, has received $30 million in funding, though no prominent investors have been announced.
The DeFi category also features some strong contenders. Particle Network, for example, has backing from Binance Labs and Cobo Ventures, having raised $23.5 million. Other projects, such as Lombard and Elixir, attracted $17 million and $17.6 million respectively, from investors such as Hack VC, Sui, and Maelstrom Capital.
According to experts, while exact TGE dates remain unclear, the uptick in project activity and heightened investor interest suggest these events could occur quite soon.
