Top-tier NFT brand Pudgy Penguins and football heavyweight Manchester City have decided to deepen their ongoing collaboration. The move follows community demand for their initial joint merchandise drop
Developers are now preparing to roll out a new wave of interactive projects bridging the physical and digital realms.
The partners released their first limited-edition drop back in January. The collection featured a physical Pengu collectible holding a soccer ball digital clock alongside a co-branded Manchester City hoodie.
To tease the next phase of the collaboration, the team dropped a video clip featuring the iconic Web3 mascot flexing the official British club kit.

"Together, we will be creating exciting experiences at the intersection of physical and digital formats, opening the Pudgy Penguins universe to Manchester City fans worldwide," the company stated.
For the Web3 brand, this integration unlocks massive mainstream exposure. Manchester City has dominated the global soccer arena for years, maintaining its status as one of the most successful sports franchises.
According to Forbes data, the club boasts a market valuation of $5.3 billion, securing its position as the fifth most valuable soccer franchise on the planet.

Retail expansion
This sports-focused announcement adds to a growing list of major infrastructure releases for the project. Earlier, the team rolled out its native crypto debit card, the Pengu Card, in a strategic partnership with payments giant Visa.
The card easily links up with Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, allowing users to handle everyday online purchases or withdraw fiat from ATMs globally.
Adding to the momentum, the brand launched its free-to-play browser game Pudgy World in March and integrated its physical toy lines directly into retail heavyweight Amazon.
Driven by the bullish news, the Solana-based native ecosystem token PENGU printed moderate gains. According to CoinMarketCap data, the asset pumped 3.14% over the past 24 hours to hit $0.008828.
