Magic Eden began transitioning ME Wallet to export-only mode on April 1. The wallet is no longer available for download on the App Store or Google Play, effectively ending full functionality — users can no longer make transactions within the app.
Following the transition, the app no longer supports any in-app operations, leaving only the ability to export seed phrases and private keys. The developers warned that if users lose access to their device or the installed version of the app, they won’t be able to recover access to their funds without backup data.
Earlier, in late February, Magic Eden announced a shift in its product strategy. As planned, its EVM and BTC marketplaces were shut down in March, and the Bitcoin API was discontinued.
Additionally, users were reminded about USDC rewards for stakers. Rewards can be claimed via a separate interface, with a 90-day claim window.
