The NFT marketplace OpenSea, in collaboration with the Meebits and Curio projects, has launched sales for a collectible AI toy. The new product, named Viz, merges a physical plush toy, controlled by artificial intelligence, with an NFT.

The sale is structured as a mint of Early Access Pass NFTs on the OpenSea platform.

What Viz Is

The Viz toy (The Visitor) is a plush character designed as an alien from the planet Voxalon. It is based on a Meebits character and is equipped with the CuriOS AI platform, developed by the Curio company.

Curio is the first AI company in the industry specializing in bringing plush toys to life using artificial intelligence.

The CuriOS platform was created with priority given to privacy, security, and anonymity. The AI system is intended for children aged three and up, providing strictly G-rated content. As clarified by the host of The Meebits Podcast (Sujito), Viz focuses on science and technology, encouraging children to explore the world.

How To Get One

The sale is an strictly limited release, including 1,000 plush toys. To guarantee receipt of the physical toy, collectors must purchase an Early Access Pass NFT on OpenSea.

The mint will run until November 21 or until supplies last. Pass holders will receive an additional, exclusive digital reward from Meebits, the details of which the company promises to announce later.

A snapshot of the pass holders' wallets will be taken on November 22. Following this, holders will be able to complete a redemption form to arrange delivery of the physical toy. Shipping will begin in the first week of December 2025. Curio also plans to start standard sales of the toys through its own website in December.
