Lamborghini continues to explore the Web3 world, announcing a new NFT project to be launched on the Base platform, Coinbase’s Ethereum Layer 2. The project is set to debut on November 7.
A New Perspective on Digital Collectibles
According to the announcement, the new collection is dedicated to Revuelto, Lamborghini’s latest supercar model, and will be released as part of the Fast ForWorld project. This will include a Web3 wallet with 3D features and interactive capabilities.
The digital project is being developed in collaboration with Motorverse, a motorsport and blockchain gaming subsidiary of Animoca Brands. It’s expected that digital cars will be playable across multiple games, opening up new horizons for car enthusiasts.
It’s worth noting that this isn’t the first time the luxury sports car manufacturer has integrated NFTs into its business model. In January 2022, Lamborghini launched its first project, Space Time Memory, which consisted of five digital artworks created by Swiss artist Fabian Oefner.
With each new initiative, Lamborghini seems to demonstrate that it isn’t afraid to experiment and explore new horizons. It appears that for the brand, NFTs aren’t just a trend but an important part of its strategy aimed at engaging with customers and expanding their experiences.
