The popular Hamster Kombat game, after the massive fiasco of the recent airdrop, has announced plans to integrate NFT technology into its ecosystem. This decision opens up a new logic for players to interact with the game and each other. These mechanics should be a feature of the second season.
If not to delve into other innovations of the second season, and focus only on NFT, the innovations can be listed as follows:
Unique Hamster Fighters: Players will be able to buy, sell and trade NFTs, which are unique hamster fighters with special characteristics, skills and appearance.
Tournaments: Owners of certain NFTs will be able to participate in exclusive private tournaments with valuable prizes.
Collectibles: NFTs can be used to represent rare in-game artifacts such as costumes, accessories, and arena backgrounds.
Game management: the developers are considering using these NFTs to vote on future game development.
A specific date for the launch of NFTs in Hamster Kombat has not yet been announced, but it is known that it is a matter of the next few months (the functionality is still in development).
The game project even plans to launch its own marketplace for trading its NFTs, as well as integration with popular NFT platforms for the circulation of branded in-game NFTs outside the original ecosystem.
