The Ministry of Justice of Georgia has officially formalized its relationship with the Hedera platform. The parties signed a memorandum focused on integrating these technologies into the public sector and rebuilding administrative processes on the blockchain.
The primary goal is to migrate the National Agency of Public Registry databases to a distributed network. This move ensures property rights records remain transparent and tamper-proof.
Smart contracts are a major priority. The agency is already familiar with the tool but plans to scale its usage. Real estate tokenization is the key direction here, introducing mechanisms to turn real square meters and land plots into digital units.
The process is shifting from planning to active integration. Working groups are now launching to handle the technical rollout, where ministry experts and agency specialists will collaborate directly with platform developers.
