Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong (Brian Armstrong) announced the company’s pivot to the Everything Exchange model. The updated application integrates stock trading, crypto assets, prediction markets, and derivatives into a single interface. Universal Asset Exchange
Max Bransburg (Max Bransburg), Vice President of Product, demonstrated buying Nvidia shares directly through the Coinbase app using the USDC stablecoin. A single account now enables users to manage portfolios containing both traditional securities and digital assets. For international users, the company is launching equity perpetual futures with up to 20x leverage.
The platform expanded its reach into decentralized markets by adding support for millions of tokens on the Solana network. Traders can now purchase assets immediately upon creation, bypassing the traditional centralized exchange listing process.
Additionally, Coinbase launched its own primary token sale platform, debuting with the Monad project.
Intelligent Wealth Management
Lincoln Murphy (Lincoln Murphy) introduced Coinbase Advisor, a financial assistant powered by artificial intelligence. The tool analyzes user holdings and suggests allocation strategies based on natural language prompts. The system factors in individual risk profiles and executes trades directly within the chat interface.
The platform also rolled out direct paycheck deposits, instant withdrawal of ether and solana from staking, and ether-collateralized loans up to $1.000 M. Coinbase 1 subscribers now earn 3.500% rewards on USDC balances and receive up to 4.000% bitcoin cashback on debit card transactions.
Solutions for Businesses and Developers
Coinbase Business officially exited beta and is now available to all corporate clients. The division lead announced new features for professional invoicing and global payouts.
Alec Lovett (Alec Lovett) presented a new developer toolkit, including an API for launching custom-branded stablecoins. The company is also promoting the X42 protocol, an open standard for stablecoin payments already utilized by AI agents for microtransactions and content monetization.
Social Trading on the Base Network
Base creator Jesse Pollack (Jesse Pollack) announced the public release of the Base App. The self-custodial wallet features a social-style feed where users can trade assets with a single tap. The ecosystem includes creator coins, allowing influencers and authors to monetize their content directly through their community.
Institutional Tokenization with Coinbase Tokenize
Closing the presentation, Armstrong unveiled Coinbase Tokenize. This end-to-end solution facilitates moving off-chain assets, such as real estate and private funds, onto the blockchain. The platform manages the entire lifecycle of real-world assets (RWA), including issuance, custody, and secondary market trading.
