Crypto exchange Bybit has unveiled its new initiative — a decentralized exchange (DEX) called Byreal, which is expected to go live by the end of the month. The platform is built on the Solana blockchain and combines CEX-grade liquidity with the transparency of DeFi. The mainnet launch is scheduled for Q3 2025.
New DEX From Bybit
Bybit CEO Ben Zhou announced the launch of Bybit’s own on-chain platform, Byreal — the first decentralized exchange to be incubated directly by the exchange. The project was developed from scratch, will operate on Solana, and according to the team, will not be “just another DEX.”
The core idea behind Byreal is to merge the high liquidity of centralized platforms with decentralized transparency. The team refers to this approach as true hybrid finance.
What Byreal Offers
According to the project’s official X account, Byreal’s architecture centers around hybrid routing using RFQ (Request for Quote) and CLMM (Concentrated Liquidity Market Maker), aiming to protect against MEV attacks and minimize slippage during swaps. The platform is expected to provide users with fast and stable swap execution without value loss.
The project also includes:
- Reset Launch — a fair launchpad mechanism with an intelligent pricing ladder and a fair distribution algorithm;
- Revive Vault — a curated set of strategic yield pools, including bbSOL;
- Unified Liquidity — the platform aims to aggregate fragmented liquidity sources into a single offering.
Integration With Solana and Launch Plans
According to the team, Solana was chosen for its scalability and speed. Byreal will become part of the Solana ecosystem, expanding the pool of users, assets, and trading volumes. The testnet is set to launch on June 30, 2025, with the mainnet deployment expected in the third quarter of 2025.
The project is backed by Bybit and is positioned as a long-term initiative for professional traders and DeFi users.
