Crypto exchange BitMart has announced a phased shutdown of its platform.

Starting July 26, the exchange began restricting new user registrations, accepting deposits, and the placement of new orders. On August 26, all trading services will come to an end.

The platform is scheduled to fully shut down on January 31, 2027. However, withdrawal services will remain available after trading stops, allowing users to transfer their assets.

BitMart also urged customers to complete KYC if required, close any open positions, and avoid waiting until the final stages of the shutdown to withdraw their funds.

The company did not provide any additional details about the reasons behind the decision, saying only that it followed a careful assessment of its operating conditions, market environment, and future strategic direction.

“We deeply regret having to make this decision,” the company said in its official statement.
