Crypto exchange Bitget has launched a campaign timed to March 8 called Blockchain4Her. It focuses on women's involvement as a factor in the development of the Web3 space.

Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget, pointed out problems with women's representation in crypto.

“Large companies must recognize the role of women in finance. Every step toward this matters,” she believes.

According to the press release, the online part of the campaign starts with a global action in social media against unconscious biases in Web3. It tells how women master traditionally male-dominated spaces and take initiative in development, while leaders, developers, creators, and users share ideas to increase inclusivity in the industry.

The offline campaign consists of events around the world — workshops, panels, conferences, discussions.

“We create spaces for networking, sharing experiences, as well as conversations about leadership, finance, and technologies,” representatives of Bitget stated.

Also, as part of the project, a limited-edition bank card based on Mastercard or Visa will be released. Its design carries messages for inclusivity and against biases, and the card itself provides bonuses for supporters of gender diversity in blockchain.

“Diversity strengthens markets,” the company believes.
